The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) CPO SI Exam will be conducted in online (CBT-based) mode and consists of multiple stages:
Paper 1 (Computer-Based Test):
- Type: Multiple Choice Questions (Objective Type)
- Total Questions: 200
- Subjects: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English Comprehension
- Duration: 2 Hours Marking Scheme: +1 for each correct answer, -0.25 for each wrong answer (negative marking)

- Scheduled Tribes: Height 162.5 cm, Chest 77/82 cm
Female Candidates:
- General: Height 157 cm
- Hill Areas: Height 155 cm
- Scheduled Tribes: Height 154 cm
Weight: Should be proportional to height for all candidates
Physical Endurance Test (PET) Activities
Male Candidates
- 100-meter race: Complete in 16 seconds 1.6 km race: Complete in 6.5 minutes
- Long jump: Minimum 3.65 meters (3 chances)
- High jump: Minimum 1.2 meters (3 chances)
- Shot put (16 lbs): Minimum 4.5 meters (3 chances)
Female Candidates
- 100-meter race: Complete in 18 seconds 800-meter race: Complete in 4 minutes
- Long jump: Minimum 2.7 meters (3 chances)
- High jump: Minimum 0.9 meters (3 chances)
Paper 2 (Computer-Based Test):
- SSC CPO Paper 2 is an online objective-type paper.
- The exam includes 200 questions, all from English Language and Comprehension.
- Each question carries 1 mark, making a total of 200 marks.
- The total duration is 2 hours (120 minutes)
- There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer
