AIIMS Post Wise Qualification & Age Limit

Nursing Officer

• Number of Posts: 3000+ (Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 10)
• Age Limit: 18 to 30 years as on 16.03.2026; upper age relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD (Gen/EWS), 13 years for PwBD (OBC), 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST), and as per Government rules for Ex-Servicemen.
• Education Qualification:
  I. a. B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University OR
  b. B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/University AND registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council
  OR
  II. a. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (DGNM) from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council AND
  b. Registered as Nurses and Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council AND
  c. Two years’ experience in a minimum fifty bedded hospital after acquiring the above educational qualification as applicable for all participating AIIMS.
• Pay Scale: Level 07 Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-
