CMRL Post Wise Qualification & Age Limit

Chief General Manager (Elevated Construction) / (Under Ground Construction)

• Age Limit: 55 years as on 23.02.2026; relaxation.
• Education Qualification: For Contract Basis – Must be a B.E / B.Tech (Civil) graduate from a Government accredited University / Institute approved by AICTE / UGC; M.E / M.Tech (Civil / Construction Management) preferable. Should possess minimum 25 years of post-qualification experience in execution of large infrastructure / Underground / Elevated construction projects such as major bridge constructions with Highways / Railways / Metro Rail / Underground Tunnel / Underground station works or similar projects, with experience in diaphragm wall construction work, deep excavation work, mass concrete for base slab and roof slab and heavy structural work for station construction; should have knowledge and skill in Contract Management / FIDIC contract / International civil construction contracts, monitor General Consultant & Contractor’s performance, and have exposure in Quality Control & Assurance system, Safety Implementation, Program Monitoring, IS / International Codes for Elevated / Underground structures. For Deputation Basis – Officer from Organized Group A IRSE in Railways / equivalent post in Metro or other GoI organization or Chief Engineer level in State Government organizations with minimum 25 years of post qualification experience in execution of large Infrastructure / Underground / Elevated construction projects.
• Pay Scale: Rs.2,70,000/- per month (Contract basis).

General Manager (Elevated Construction) / (Under Ground Construction)

• Age Limit: 55 years as on 23.02.2026.
• Education Qualification: For Contract Basis – B.E / B.Tech (Civil) from a Government accredited University / Institute approved by AICTE / UGC; M.E / M.Tech (Civil / Construction Management) preferable. Must have at least 20 years of post-qualification experience in execution of large infrastructure / Underground / Elevated construction projects (Highways / Railways / Metro Rail / Underground Tunnel / Underground station works etc.), including diaphragm wall, deep excavation, base and roof slab mass concrete and heavy structural works; should be familiar with Contract Management / FIDIC / International civil construction contracts and monitoring of General Consultant & Contractor’s performance along with quality, safety and code compliance. For Deputation Basis – Officer from Organized Group A IRSE / equivalent in Metro or other GoI organization or Chief Engineer level in State Government organizations with minimum 20 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• Pay Scale: Rs.2,25,000/- per month (Contract basis).

Additional General Manager (Elevated Construction) / (Under Ground Construction)

• Age Limit: 47 years as on 23.02.2026.
• Education Qualification: For Contract Basis – B.E / B.Tech (Civil) from a Government accredited University / Institute approved by AICTE / UGC; M.E / M.Tech (Civil / Construction Management) is preferable. Should have minimum 17 years of post-qualification experience in execution of large infrastructure / Underground / Elevated construction projects such as major bridge constructions with Highways / Railways / Metro Rail / Underground Tunnel / Underground station works or projects of similar nature, with experience in diaphragm wall construction, deep excavation, mass concrete and heavy structural work for stations; must be proficient in Contract Management / FIDIC / International contracts and in monitoring General Consultant & Contractor’s performance. For Deputation Basis – Officer from Organized Group A IRSE / equivalent in Metro or other GoI organization or State Government organizations with requisite experience, in SG Grade with 15 years of work experience in GoI or Superintending Engineer level in State Government with 18 years of experience.
• Pay Scale: Rs.1,60,000/- per month.

Joint General Manager (Elevated Construction) / (Under Ground Construction)

• Age Limit: 43 years as on 23.02.2026.
• Education Qualification: For Contract Basis – B.E / B.Tech (Civil) from a Government accredited University / Institute approved by AICTE / UGC; M.E / M.Tech (Civil / Construction Management) preferable. Must have at least 15 years of post-qualification experience in execution of large infrastructure / Underground / Elevated construction projects like major bridge works, Metro Rail, Underground tunnels / stations, diaphragm walls, deep excavation, mass concrete and structural station works, with strong exposure in Contract Management / FIDIC / International contracts and performance monitoring. For Deputation Basis – Officer from Organized Group A IRSE / equivalent in Metro or other GoI organization or State Government organizations, in JAG/SG Grade with 12 years of work experience in GoI or Executive Engineer level in State Government with 15 years of experience in relevant works.
• Pay Scale: Rs.1,45,000/- per month.

Deputy General Manager (Elevated Construction) / (Under Ground Construction)

• Age Limit: 40 years as on 23.02.2026.
• Education Qualification: For Contract Basis – B.E / B.Tech (Civil) from Government accredited University / Institute approved by AICTE / UGC; M.E / M.Tech (Civil / Construction Management) preferable. Should possess minimum 13 years of post-qualification experience in large infrastructure / Underground / Elevated construction projects including viaducts, bridges, tunnels, diaphragm walls, deep excavation, base and roof slab concreting and heavy station structures, with sound knowledge of Contract Management / FIDIC / International civil contracts and contractor supervision. For Deputation Basis – Officer from Organized Group A IRSE / equivalent or State Government organizations in JAG Grade with 10 years of work experience in GoI or Assistant Executive Engineer level in State Government with 12 years of experience in large Infrastructure / Underground / Elevated projects.
• Pay Scale: Rs.1,25,000/- per month.

Manager (Elevated Construction) / (Under Ground Construction)

• Age Limit: 38 years as on 23.02.2026.
• Education Qualification: Must be a B.E / B.Tech (Civil) graduate from an accredited University / Institute; M.E / M.Tech (Civil / Construction Management) is preferable. Should have at least 07 years of post-qualification experience in large infrastructure / Elevated Construction / Underground structures such as viaducts, bridges, multistoried buildings, tunnels, D-wall and Underground stations etc., of which minimum 05 years’ experience in Metro / Railway projects is essential; must be well versed with Standard Indian and Euro Codes and practices for bridges and buildings.
• Pay Scale: Rs.85,000/- per month.

Deputy Manager (Elevated Construction) / (Under Ground Construction)

• Age Limit: 35 years as on 23.02.2026.
• Education Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Civil) from an accredited University / Institute; M.E / M.Tech (Civil / Construction Management) preferable. Should have minimum 04 years of post-qualification experience in large infrastructure / Elevated Construction / Underground structures such as viaducts, bridges, multistoried buildings, tunnels, D-wall and Underground stations; Metro experience is preferable and candidates should be familiar with relevant Indian and Euro codes and practices for bridges and buildings.
• Pay Scale: Rs.75,000/- per month.

Assistant Manager (Elevated Construction) / (Under Ground Construction)

• Age Limit: 30 years as on 23.02.2026.
• Education Qualification: Must be a B.E / B.Tech (Civil) graduate from an accredited University / Institute; M.E / M.Tech (Civil / Construction Management) preferable. Should possess minimum 02 years of post-qualification experience in large infrastructure / Elevated Construction / Underground structures such as viaducts, bridges, multistoried buildings, tunnels, D-wall and Underground stations; Metro experience is preferable and candidates should be knowledgeable with Standard Indian and Euro codes and practices for bridges and buildings.
