DRDO DIHAR Post Wise Qualification & Age Limit

Junior Research Fellows

• Number of Posts: 22
• Age Limit: 28 years as on 24.02.2026; upper age relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD (Gen/EWS), 13 years for PwBD (OBC), 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST), and for Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules
• Education Qualification: B.Tech in first division with valid GATE score or M.Tech in first division at both Graduate and Post-graduate level; disciplines include Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Production, Instrumentation Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Physics as per post-wise breakup in the notification
• Pay Scale: Rs. 37,000/- + HRA per month

Research Associate

• Number of Posts: 03
• Age Limit: 35 years as on 24.02.2026; upper age relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD (Gen/EWS), 13 years for PwBD (OBC), 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST), and for Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules
• Education Qualification: 03 years of research, teaching or design & development experience after M.Tech with at least one research paper in SCI journal; M.Tech disciplines include Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Production, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology as per post-wise breakup in the notification
• Pay Scale: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA per month
