NITTTR Chennai Post Wise Qualification & Age Limit

Technical Assistant Gr. I (Jr. Engineer – Civil)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on 13.03.2026; upper age relaxation applicable for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules.
• Education Qualification: Passed School Final (Class X) or its equivalent. A Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution with 05 years of relevant experience OR Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution with 08 years professional experience as Civil Engineer. Desirable: Working knowledge of RCC design and other civil works, practical experience in supervision of civil construction and/or maintenance of office buildings, commercial structures and residential complexes, working knowledge of computer, and experience in preparation of tender documents for civil works for a period of not less than five years.
• Pay Scale: As per NITTTR Chennai Group B Technical Assistant pay level.

Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

• Number of Posts: 11
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years as on 13.03.2026; upper age relaxation for SC/ST (+5 years), OBC (+3 years), PwBD (Gen/EWS +10 years, SC/ST +15 years, OBC +13 years) and Ex-Servicemen as per Government norms.
• Education Qualification: Passed School Final (Class X) or its equivalent. One year working experience in a Government or Quasi Government or autonomous organisation, preferably in an educational institution, is desirable.
• Pay Scale: Pay Level 6 Rs. 35400 – 112400/-.
