NPCIL Post Wise Qualification & Age Limit

Executive Trainee – Mechanical

• Number of Posts: 125
• Age Limit: Maximum 26 years for General/EWS as on 30.04.2026; relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and for PwD candidates +10 years (UR), +13 years (OBC-NCL), +15 years (SC/ST); Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules.
• Education Qualification: BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engineering)/5 year Integrated M Tech in Mechanical or Production Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate marks from a University/Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC and a valid GATE-2024/2025/2026 score in Mechanical discipline.
• Pay Scale: Monthly stipend Rs.74,000/- plus one time Book Allowance Rs.30,000/- during training; on successful completion of training, basic pay Rs.56,100/- along with applicable allowances.

Executive Trainee – Chemical

• Number of Posts: 40
• Age Limit: Maximum 26 years for General/EWS as on 30.04.2026; age relaxation 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL); for PwD candidates +10 years (UR), +13 years (OBC-NCL), +15 years (SC/ST); Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India norms.
• Education Qualification: BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engineering)/5 year Integrated M Tech in Chemical or Electro-Chemical Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University/Deemed University/Institute and valid GATE-2024/2025/2026 score in Chemical discipline.
• Pay Scale: Monthly stipend Rs.74,000/- and one time Book Allowance Rs.30,000/- during training; after successful training, basic pay Rs.56,100/- plus admissible allowances.

Executive Trainee – Electrical

• Number of Posts: 65
• Age Limit: Upper age 26 years for General/EWS as on 30.04.2026; relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), PwD relaxation +10 years (UR), +13 years (OBC-NCL), +15 years (SC/ST); Ex-Servicemen as per Government provisions.
• Education Qualification: BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engineering)/5 year Integrated M Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate marks from AICTE/UGC recognized University/Institute and valid GATE-2024/2025/2026 score in Electrical discipline.
• Pay Scale: Training stipend Rs.74,000/- per month plus one time Book Allowance Rs.30,000/-; on completion, basic pay Rs.56,100/- with other benefits as per NPCIL rules.

Executive Trainee – Electronics

• Number of Posts: 50
• Age Limit: Not more than 26 years for General/EWS as on 30.04.2026; SC/ST relaxation 5 years, OBC (NCL) 3 years; PwD candidates get +10 years (UR), +13 years (OBC-NCL), +15 years (SC/ST); Ex-Servicemen as per Government guidelines.
• Education Qualification: BE/B Tech/B Sc (Engineering)/5 year Integrated M Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Controls, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Electronics, or Electronics System Engineering with minimum 60% aggregate marks from recognized University/Institute and valid GATE-2024/2025/2026 score in the corresponding Electronics discipline.
• Pay Scale: Monthly stipend of Rs.74,000/- during training with one time Book Allowance Rs.30,000/-; after training, basic pay Rs.56,100/- plus applicable allowances.

Executive Trainee – Instrumentation

• Number of Posts: 15
• Age Limit: Maximum age 26 years for General/EWS as on 30.04.2026; relaxation for SC/ST by 5 years, OBC (NCL) by 3 years; PwD candidates – additional relaxation of +10 years (UR), +13 years (OBC-NCL), +15 years (SC/ST); Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules.
