NTPC Post Wise Qualification & Age Limit

GDMO

• Number of Posts: 20
• Age Limit: 37 years as on 23.04.2026; age relaxation – 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years for UR PwD, 13 years for OBC (NCL) PwD, 15 years for SC/ST PwD, and for Ex-Servicemen as per Government norms
• Education Qualification: MBBS with minimum 02 years’ experience/practice after MBBS
• Pay Scale: E2 Grade Rs.50000 – 160000/-

Physician (Gen. Medicine)

• Number of Posts: 25
• Age Limit: 37 years as on 23.04.2026; age relaxation as per Government rules (SC/ST 5 years, OBC (NCL) 3 years, PwD and Ex-Servicemen as applicable)
• Education Qualification: MD/DNB in General Medicine; for E4 Grade – minimum 1 year experience/practice after MD/DNB, for E3 Grade – fresh MD/DNB
• Pay Scale: E2 Grade Rs.50000 – 160000/-

Pediatrics

• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 37 years as on 23.04.2026 with applicable relaxations for reserved categories and PwD/Ex-Servicemen candidates
• Education Qualification: MD/DNB in Pediatrics or MBBS with PG Diploma in Child Health; for E4 Grade – minimum 1 year experience/practice after MD/MS/DNB, for E3 Grade – fresh MD/MS/DNB or MBBS plus PG Diploma with 2 years’ experience after PG Diploma
• Pay Scale: E4 Grade Rs.70000 – 200000/-, E3 Grade Rs.60000 – 180000/-

Ophthalmology

• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 37 years as on 23.04.2026 with standard relaxations as per NTPC and Government guidelines
• Education Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in Ophthalmology or MBBS with PG Diploma in Ophthalmology; for E4 Grade – minimum 1 year experience/practice after MD/MS/DNB, for E3 Grade – fresh MD/MS/DNB or MBBS plus PG Diploma with 2 years’ experience after PG Diploma
