• Number of Posts: 03
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Education Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech. in Leather Technology with minimum sixty percentage marks from a recognised University/ Institute. Desirable: Minimum 6 months industrial exposure in leather processing including cleaner technologies, process control and product-specific leather development with demonstration/validation activities; or experience in sustainability assessment, data collection/handling, leather processing and environmental management with good computer skills; or experience in testing and evaluation of chemicals and material characterisation.
• Pay Scale: Rs.25,000/- plus HRA

Project Associate-I (PAT-I) – Post No.2 (04 Posts)

• Number of Posts: 04
• Age Limit: 35 years
• Education Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech. in Chemical / Instrumentation / Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with minimum sixty percentage marks from a recognised University/ Institute. Desirable: (i) Minimum 6 months industrial exposure in process industries, alternative/renewable energy and environmental processes with interest in R&D on process optimisation and efficiency improvement, (ii) minimum 6 months exposure in wastewater and solid waste analysis and operation of bench-scale biological reactors, (iii) M.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 6 months experience in electronics manufacturing/ research, (iv) M.E./ M.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Industrial Safety Engineering or 6 months relevant industry experience.

• Age Limit: 28 years for JRF; 35 years for Project Associate-I
• Education Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry (General/ Organic/ Nanotechnology/ Polymer Science/ Material Science/ Inorganic/ Physical/ Analytical) with minimum sixty percentage marks from a recognised University/ Institute and NET/ GATE qualification for JRF. For Project Associate-I: M.Sc. in the above disciplines with minimum sixty percentage marks. Desirable: First class in M.Sc., sound academic record, experience in organic and polymerization reactions and coatings, colloids and surface science including surfactants, emulsions and fat liquors, organic synthesis, inorganic/ composite materials synthesis, chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, analysis of samples, strong analytical skills, good knowledge of MS Office and motivation to carry out research and register for Ph.D through the project.
