Community Bank Coordinator

• Number of Posts: 177
• Age Limit: Must be below 35 years as per notification; usual relaxations / special approvals as mentioned for specific categories (like hill / tribal areas) will apply as per District Collector directions.
• Education Qualification: Must have passed 12th standard. Candidate should have good reading and writing ability in Tamil and English and must be comfortable with basic mathematical calculations. In hilly regions, if 12th pass candidates are not available, 10th pass candidates with all other required conditions may be considered with special approval of the District Collector. The applicant must be a female member of a Self-Help Group (SHG) that is part of the Panchayat Level Federation (PLF) and should have worked actively as SHG animator for at least 2 years. Selected person should not be an employee of any community-based organisation or a full-time staff of private institutions and should not belong to a group having loan default / pending dues. The candidate must belong to the same Village Panchayat (or concerned Village Panchayats) where she will be appointed. The applicant should be from the target households identified through Participatory Identification of Poor (PIP) / People’s Status Survey. If no such eligible woman is available from that target list, other applicants may be considered as a second option. In tribal settlements of hill areas, if no suitable female candidate is available as per conditions, a male candidate may be appointed with special approval of the District Collector. Candidate must have good communication skills, experience in visiting banks for transactions, filling bank loan applications, and should preferably have basic computer knowledge and a valid two-wheeler driving licence with riding ability. It is also compulsory to own an Android smartphone and know how to use it for SMS, WhatsApp and mobile applications.
• Pay Scale: Fixed honorarium of Rs.2,500/- per month.
