Community Bank Coordinator

• Number of Posts: Various
• Age Limit: Must be under 35 years (upper age as per notification, with applicable norms as decided by District Collector where mentioned for special cases)
• Education Qualification: Must have passed the 12th standard with good reading and writing skills in Tamil and English and basic mathematical calculation skills. In hilly areas, if 12th passed candidates are not available, 10th passed candidates with other required qualifications may be considered with special approval from the District Collector. Must be a female member of a Self-Help Group (SHG) affiliated with the Panchayat Level Federation (PLF) and must have worked actively as an SHG animator for a minimum of 2 years. The selected person should not be an employee of a community-based organization or a full-time employee in private institutions and should not belong to a group that has loan defaults or dues. The candidate must belong to the respective Village Panchayat (or Village Panchayats) where she will work and must be from the target population identified under Participatory Identification of Poor (PIP) / People’s Status Survey; if no such candidate with required qualification applies, others may be considered. In tribal settlements in hilly regions, if no suitable female is available, a male member may be selected with special approval of the District Collector. Candidates should have good communication skills, experience in visiting banks for transactions and filling loan applications, preference for those having computer skills and valid two-wheeler driving license with ability to ride a two-wheeler, and it is mandatory to own an Android smartphone and be able to use SMS, WhatsApp, and mobile applications.
• Pay Scale: Honorarium Rs.2,500/- per month
