Assistant Library & Information Officer (Language – Kannada)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: 30 years (Age relaxation: +5 years for SC/ST, +3 years for OBC (NCL), +10 years for PwD (UR), +13 years for PwD OBC (NCL), +15 years for PwD SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules)
• Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with Kannada as a major subject; and Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University or Institute. Two years’ professional experience in a Library under Central or State Government or Autonomous or Statutory organization or Public Sector Undertaking or University or recognized Research or Educational Institution. Desirable: Master’s Degree from a recognized University with Kannada as a major subject; Master’s Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized University or Institute; Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University or Institute or Board.

Associate Professor, Civil Engineering (Structural)

• Education Qualification: (a) Bachelor’s Degree in the Foreign Language concerned (Chinese) with English as a compulsory or elective subject at Graduate level from an accredited University; OR (b) (i) Graduate with English as a compulsory or elective subject from an accredited University or Institution, and (ii) Diploma in Foreign Language concerned (Chinese) with interpretership or translation standard from a University or Institute recognized by Government of India. Desirable: Three years’ experience in teaching and/or translating the relevant foreign language (Chinese) into English and vice versa.

Translator (Tibetan)

Assistant Mining Engineer

• Education Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Mining Engineering from an accredited University or Institution and two years’ experience in core Mining activity in: (a) Supervisory position in Metalliferous (Non-coal) mines, which includes the period as Graduate or Management or Junior Trainee Engineer; or (b) Government Department dealing with mines and minerals in Level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs. 35400-112400) or above. Desirable: Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Mining Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Assistant Research Officer

• Number of Posts: 02
• Age Limit: 30 years (Age relaxation: +5 years for SC/ST, +3 years for OBC (NCL), +10 years for PwD (UR), +13 years for PwD OBC (NCL), +15 years for PwD SC/ST, Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules)
• Education Qualification: Master’s Degree in Ore Dressing or Mineral Processing or Geology or Physics or Chemistry from a recognized University or Institution; OR Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mineral Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy from a recognized University or Institution, with two years’ experience in conducting mineral beneficiation or mineral characterization for beneficiation of various ores and minerals in a recognized laboratory or beneficiation plant. Desirable: Master of Technology in Mineral Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.

Accounts Officer

• Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or Institution. The recruitment is exclusively for Domiciles of the Union Territory of Ladakh, in terms of the Ladakh Civil Services Decentralization and Recruitment – Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure) Rules, 2025, notified by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and published in the Gazette of India (Extraordinary) dated 03.06.2025. A valid Domicile Certificate must be issued by the Tehsildar in the Administration of UT of Ladakh.
